He has been married to his best friend Stephanie for 2 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife and friends. He also enjoys working out, basketball, tennis, golf and is a diehard Tampa Bay Bucs fan.

Russell began working in the auto industry when he was in high school as a part-time at a full-service gas station attendant. In 1985, he took a night course in auto technology at the National Business School in DC and started working part-time doing automotive maintenance at another store. Russell started at Koons in May 1986. He says what he likes most about auto work is the hands on technical aspect of automobiles and the satisfaction of fixing something that does not work properly.
Russell has been happily married since 1986 to a wonderful woman and has two great children, a son and daughter. Russell's other interests include outdoor and nature photography. Some of Russell's photographic works are displayed at Koons. You can view his photography at rwaphotography.com.

His son and oldest daughter work in the business and his youngest daughter is also involved with cars. When Rod is not at work, you will find him either 1000 miles south of Miami or in the Colorado Rockies.

I've been in the automotive industry since April 2003. I started with Koons in march of 2012. There is nothing that makes me more excited about my job than seeing a customer completely satisfied with their car buying experience. I enjoy spending every moment not at the dealership with my family doing whatever comes to mind on that day off. I am also a die hard Ravens fan (Home Team). And can't wait until football season.
